BBCs Any Questions comes to Dartmouth
The Royal Society of St. George, Dartmouth has gained the sup- port of the BBC and “Any Questions” Chairman Jonathan Dimbleby, who will present this famous Radio 4 programme live at the Dartmouth Community College, Milton Lane on Friday 29th May.

Jonathan Dimbleby will dedicate the programme to The Royal Society of St. George. Tickets for the programme are free and these are on a “first-come first-served” basis. There will be an opportunity to submit a question to Jonathan Dimbleby’s team and guests will have the chance to join with the invited panellists, whose names will be advised shortly.

A retiring collection will be made by the Dartmouth & District Friends group of the Children’s Hospice Southwest. Little Bridge House, near Barnstaple in North Devon opened to its first families over 14 years ago, followed by Charlton Farm at Wraxall, just south of Bristol, in April 2007, and the charity needs to raise £6m each year to secure the provision of care at both hospices.

The cornerstone of the philosophy at the children’s hospices is to offer holistic care, endeavouring to enhance the quality of life for children and families who stay there. No charge is made to families. The Friends of the Children’s Hospices raise over 95% of all the money necessary to support this wonderful charity by many fund raising activities.

The Dartmouth Branch of The Royal Society of St George has elected to support the hard working Friends of the Children’s Hospice South West in Dartmouth and District. We hope that guests will show their support as well by donating generously.
