In the South West alone, there are over 1,000 children with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition.  Children's Hospice South West was started in 1995 as a registered charity to help these children and their families.   Little Bridge House, near Barnstaple, and Charlton Farm, near Bristol, provide specialist care and support to 400 terminally ill children and their families.  Together they cost around £4 million every year to run. 

 Our Friends Group is one of around 40 in the South West working voluntarily to support Children's Hospice South West by fundraising and increasing awareness of its work.   We meet on the first Monday of each month at 4pm in Foss Street Chapel in Dartmouth.  New volunteers are always very welcome.  If you would like to help raise funds for Children’s Hospice South West, either with a single event such as a coffee morning, or to bake an occasional cake, or to help as and when you can at our local events throughout the year, then please do contact:
