Small teaching groups, small tutor groups and a small community means that we get to know all of our students as individuals and can work effectively to help them achieve the success their ability warrants in a safe, and friendly learning environment.

We are a visual arts college, specialising in Art & Design (including Creative Textiles and Photography), Drama and Media Studies. This enables us to continue to raise achievement even further in these subjects, and across the curriculum using innovative and specialist skills to share good practice within the Dartmouth Learning Network and further afield. Teaching staff and support staff, parents and students working together as a team are vital to the success of our college.

 We encourage continual contact with, and input from, parents. Formal review days are organised each term and staff can be contacted whenever needed. Students are well known and supported by all staff, a feature our students were keen to share with Ofsted and about which we are very proud.
