Please our stunning new photo gallery (taken Spring 2009). The Dartmouth mermaid "Miranda" sits on rocks at the bottom of the garden, looking downstream along the Dart and out to sea.

Haven Lights is a five bedroomed detached house quietly located close to Dartmouth Castle and is on the South Devon Coastal Footpath.

There is a double-bedded room, and twin bedded room. Both offer stunning river views. There is also a tiny single bedded room (The Cabin).

All bedrooms have: central heating, electric blankets, tea/coffee-making facilities, keys to room and house, and (excepting the cabin) H&C.

Parking in Castle Road is free and unrestricted.

Although there are no en-suite rooms, there is a shower room, hairdryer, two toilets with washbasins, a laundry and a washing line for guests' use at any time.

Garden Chairs and tables are available for self-catering lunches and barbeques or just relaxing whilst watching the miscellany of river craft pass by. Have a look at the pictures for an idea of how beautiful this location is. Artits and fisher-folk often use the static river platforms, regardless of the state of the tide.

As the name implies, I offer a haven away from the stresses of city and business life. I do not have radio or TV in the bedrooms, but guests may bring their own on the strict understanding that other guests do not hear them! The house is five minutes drive from the town, twenty minutes if walking.

There is a convenient passenger ferry nearby, offering lovely views from the river as you travel to and from the town.
