Having recently returned from Hillfield and booked our third visit for next year, I can’t recommend it enough. We are a group of ‘women of a certain age’ that is ranging from 37 to 47 who just love a weekend away from our husbands and children and have found in Hillfield our perfect retreat. We stay in Court Lodge which is a beautifully designed property that actually sleeps 12 but we are happy to have 6 in it as we like to spread out! It is perfect for lounging around eating and drinking in our pyjamas, all the things we don’t (usually) do at home. We spend our evenings enjoying the stars with a cocktail or two in the hot tub before settling down for dinner. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with an amazing coastline to explore, whatever the weather. The small seaside towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe are perfect for a bit of shopping and the obligatory coffee stops that we need to do! We can’t wait to return next year. Hillfields is set in a beautiful location and very quiet. We have very much enjoyed our stay here and already thinking when we can come back.
