Nestling behind the Parish Church in the delightful South Hams village of Strete, between Dartmouth and Kingsbridge, Hyne Town House provides spectacular views of the sea and surrounding Devon countryside.

The house, an attractive Georgian period Vicarage, was extensively refurbished in 2005 and offers extremely comfortable accommodation for up to 33 residents.

Yvonne and Stephen Mould acquired Hyne Town House in 2002 and have since carried out major refurbishment work to make Hyne Town House one of the finest residential care homes in Devon.

For 16 years prior to taking over Hyne Town House, Stephen was a Regional Director in the highly regulated financial services industry and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute by qualification.

Yvonne has broad experience in public relations and marketing and ran a successful restaurant for some years.

The home’s Manager, Jean White, B.Sc.(Hons) has held senior management positions in residential care for 12 years. Prior to joining Hyne Town House Jean was a Group Manager for a large care organisation with responsibility for directing the provision of care in the south west. Jean has specialised in dementia care.
