We have two fully licensed Water Taxis (8 seater & 12 seater) which operate within and around Dartmouth Harbour.

We have two fully licensed Water Taxis (8 seater & 12 seater) which operate within and around Dartmouth Harbour.

They are available for single journeys or for Private Charter from 15 minutes to a full day. Puffin Water Taxis is an associate business of The Resnova Floating Inn which is a well established ‘land’ mark in Dartmouth Harbour having been converted from a working Dutch Barge some thirty years ago.

Puffin Water Taxis operate two fully licensed boats The Puffin (8 seater) & the Mew (12 seater). The operating area is from Totnes down river to the Dartmouth and Kingswear Castles at the mouth of the Harbour.

They are available for single journeys or for Private Charter from 15 minutes to a full day. For example, a short tour around the harbour between the ferries would last approximately 10 - 15 minutes and cost from £2.00 per person.

Naturally, we would be pleased to supply a wide range of food and drink for those wishing to have a water-borne picnic. Whilst we cannot guarantee a sighting - Dolphins, Seals, Cormorants, Herons, Buzzards and all manner of water fowl are visitors to, or residents of, the River Dart and/or the harbour.

Trips to or from the Resnova Floating Inn are free of charge for customers wishing to stop off for a meal or just for a drink
