So when you arrive and either park outside or use our free parking permit in the main car park (3 mins walk) you can start to relax straight away and enjoy your stay at The Crow’s Nest.

As we don’t include breakfast you are not tied to a limited choice or a narrow time frame in which to eat. Enjoy a nice lie-in instead and then stroll along to a breakfast venue of your choice. We are just 2 mins away from the famous Café Alf Resco who serve fabulous food in a great setting; in addition there are other cafes, restaurants, hotels and shops to choose from, all serving great grub.

Above all we believe you will want to relax and unwind when you get to Dartmouth so our location right near the town centre (2 mins stroll from the Boat Float) and only half a minute from the River Dart embankment will help you achieve this. We are located on one of the few level streets in the town so there are no hills or steps for you to climb.

Of course if you are feeling energetic then we are close to the South West Coastal Path and registered with the Association. Described as England’s most exciting coastline you should try to experience the fantastic views around the headland. We can even collect or drop off your luggage to make things easier.

When you get back from walking, shopping, eating or drinking you can then make the most of our facilities. Our large family room has an en-suite bathroom with both a full size bath and a powerful shower to unwind with. No squeezing into a cupboard sized ‘en-suite’ and putting up with a dribble of a shower here. We also supply fluffy bathrobes to help complete the ‘unwinding’ experience.    Our double room has a modern shower room en-suite and both rooms have been refurbished and now include large silent fridges and flat screen TV's.                    

In your room are the usual tea, coffee and hot chocolate options and a fridge complete with complimentary mineral water and fresh milk, not the UHT cartons you often have to put up with. White wine/champagne also fits in and we supply glasses (including champagne flutes) and a corkscrew.

Dartmouth is really quiet and peaceful at night, no through traffic at all, although in summer you will hear the odd sea gull or two!
