Double (relayed) ferries operating between 0815 (0915 weekends) - 1830 to add capacity at busy times.

Dartmouth Car Ferries

Two ferries (higher and lower) operate daily all year services between Dartmouth and the Kingswear side. The higher ferry disembarks cars to avoid entering Kingswear itself. The smaller lower ferry disembarks cars and passengers to the village of Kingswear.

Keep a good look out for the two lower ferries that ply between Kingswear and Dartmouth, they comprise a tug and vehicle carrying float that is towed alongside the tug. They are restricted in their ability to manoeuvre and fly 'D' Flag.

Do not impede the passage of the wire guided Higher Ferry that crosses the river just downstream of Dart Marina
