The Sportsman's Arms is conveniently located on the Dartmouth to Totnes Road just a few minutes by car from Dartmouth. We are a traditional free house offering warm and friendly service, with great food, in a relaxed family atmosphere.

We have plenty of parking and a large garden with play equipment, making us the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal at lunch time or the end of a busy day visiting the attractions of Dartmouth and the South Hams.

Our real ales are all from South West breweries, such as St Austell's Tribute, Teignworthy's Reel Ale and Dartmoor Breweries Jail Ale.

We offer simple home cooked food at reasonable prices with many seasonal specials. We are renowned for our carvery which offers a choice of meats all served with all the traditional accompaniments and delicious gravy. Available every Friday and Saturday evening and lunch time on Sundays, it's a treat not to be missed.

The Sportsman's arms can also cater for larger parties and special occasions with menus that range from a simple finger buffet to a five course meal for up to 100 people. We also have private rooms available in addition to tables in the restaurant and would be delighted to discuss your requirements  with you.
