Are you making the most of your Dartmouth Directory yet?

If you have a profile on Dartmouth Directory and you would like more business, ask yourself the following questions:

1. Have I registered and taken control of my profile?

2. Have I uploaded some good pictures to my gallery? (it is vital to have upto date photographs!)

3. Is my description upto date, and are my details correct?

4. Have I put a "special/late offers" page on my website?

If any of your answers are "no" - now is the time to act!

LATE DEALS! Are you advertising accommodation on Dartmouth Directory?

We now have a "Late Deals" page, linked from the accommodation menu. This is a very powerful feature, and will help you deal with any minute special offers. Be creative, and test and measure what works for your business. Above all, keep trying new things!

This is inclusive in your subscription, and doesn't incur any extra cost whatsoever.

How to add your late deals page in 7 easy steps:

1. Login with your account details.

2. Click "Add a new article" in "my menu"

3. Select the "Business promotions section", and "Accommodation late deals" category.

4. Fill in a suitable title (EG, Late Deals at XXX)

5. There's no need to add images (we'll do that for you, providing you have one on your profile).

6. Fill in the "Into text" with a summary of your offer, and use the "main text" box underneath to go into detail if you wish.

7. Click the Save Button (the disk icon) and you're done!

What happens next?

Once you've saved your "late deal" page, the site will automatically notify us.

We will make finishing touches for you (links and pictures), and finally approve it.

It will then appear on the "late deals" page!

Changing your "late offers", or disabling them altogether.

1. Login with your account details.

2. Click on "edit my articles" in "my menu", and you will see your "late deals" link.

3. To switch off your "late deals", click on the green tick (to the left of the date) and it will turn to a red cross. That will hide your "late deals" page. Just press the red cross to reactivate the page when you wish to use it again.

4. To edit your "late deals" page, click on the pen (to the right of the date), and you will be able to edit the page (ensure you save your changes!).
