Both you and your website have only 7 seconds to make an impression. This is the average time it takes for a visitor to decide whether to stay and browse, or click back to the search engine they found you on. This is irrespective of the type of business you operate on the web.

77% of holidays are researched online prior to a booking decision being made. 35% of all holidays are now booked online. This figure is set to rise by over 50% by 2012.

In 2005, 68% of holidays booked in the South West were booked in January and February. Whilst January and February are still busy months for bookings, people are leaving it later to commit, replying on late deals type discounts.

Dartmouth Directory have had over 642 visits on their accommodation late deals pages in November. This proves that despite hard times, people are still looking and still booking! Based on the success of Accommodation late deals, Dartmouth Directory will soon release (at no cost) Offer pages in Eating and Drinking, Things To Do, Shopping etc etc. We are hopeful that this will produce similar success for these categories.
