The College Afloat - This placid painting shows H.M.S. Britannia and H.M.S. Hindustan floating serenely on the waters of the Dart in 1890. Painted by C W Fothergill - Chief Instructor of Drawing and Surveying, Sandhurst. These former warships were converted into training ships for naval cadets in use until BRNC was established in 1905.

The Rock Inn This unique photo of the Rock Inn, Noss Point, shows Mrs Palk the landlady, and customers from all walks of life shortly before final closure in 1916. (Note - The caged bell rope, used to summon the Floating Bridge Ferry).
