The Dartmouth Regatta is a spectacular week long event attracting visitors from far and wide. A number of yacht clubs and sailing schools make this a great choice for novices and experienced sailors.
 
Calm seas make for excellent scuba diving, book with a local dive operator to explore a number of reefs and wrecks. For a more exhilarating experience, Dartmouth offers excellent surfing, windsurfing and power boating, whilst the white waters of the River Dart's upper reaches provide adventure for canoeists and kayak enthusiasts. 
 
A number of accredited schools provide training and equipment for various water sports including power boating, white water rafting and jet skiing.
