Fingals is magical, a jumble of a place in a hidden valley in one of the loveliest parts of south Devon close to the River Dart estuary and the coast. A collection of six self-catering cottages in Devon, set in a rolling green valley, down narrow Devon country lanes. Fingals is hemmed in by high hedgerows and a world away from real life … just as you have given up chanting "nil desperandum," a cheery green sign informs you that you have indeed reached the land of Fingals! All dogs are welcome, of all shapes and sizes.
Everything you need is here at Fingals. There is an immaculate (seasonal) grass tennis court, table tennis, a well stocked games room with snooker, table footy and other games, a sauna, gym, an indoor heated pool and much loved, beautifully tended gardens. Children can play and make friends, as you knock up your favourite tipple and loll on a steamer chair. Sailors can sail and rowers can row on the River Dart, walkers can walk on the South Devon trail and everyone can head off to the beach, the river, the moors or the pub.
