Dartmouth Angling and Boating Association
We are a small club based in DARTMOUTH in the heart of the SOUTH HAMS in DEVON
The club was first opened in 1971 by a group of anglers and boat owners,which was well supported for a number of years, but after a drop in membership the club closed.
In 1994 Jim Bunny, Colin Caple and Bill Burrows reopened the club.
In 1997 the club started its Annual Plaice Festival which was won by Justin Weeks from Dartmouth.
We have a very relaxed social club, where we have:
DARTS, POOL, DISCOS, LIVE MUSIC, HORSE RACE NIGHTS
or you can just relax and have a chat over a drink.
Our Darts Team play in the Dartmouth and District Dart League on Monday night, and the Pool Team play in the Winter Pool League.
We hold various open fishing events throughout the year, such as the small boat competition, and the mullet competition. (see the diary page for details of future events and the news page for the latest results)
Through the winter we hold a winter league for club members.
